Default Discodude19's Rescue Mission.....

So im sure by now you have all read Toyota_jon's post about nightwheeling and snowbashing. Well, today, actually right now, they (funrover, toyota_jon and discodude19) are heded up to rescue the trucks. Discodude19 has a driveshaft so he, and I quote, "IS GOING TO DRIVE HIS TRUCK OUT!!!" LOL There is also another truck up there, but the owner is currently taking an exam at UCCS and when she finishes, I will pick her up and we will head up too! But this time we are all a little more prepared, food water equipment, etc. So when we get back, hopefully before nightfall (not counting on it) pics WILL be posted by funrover, I had to give him extra camera batteries!

Please tell me you didn't let that 90 weight spill all over the ground w/o cleaning it up? Looks like you had shovels and stuff so I imagine you shoveled the oil soaked soil into a bag and took it out at least. Remember these are public forums.

Most of the oil did manage to get on rags, in plasctic bags and onto the green pad we used... We cleaned it up the best we could!!!!! After we moved his truck I went back and cleaded up the little I saw!!

How did the drive shaft break?

Was the diff otherwise in good shape before the mishap?

I have a GBR custom rear shaft arriving today. I wonder what the warranty is (I should know after paying $400, but I forgot to ask).
