Went down to Biscayne Bay yesterday and spotted this iguana across a canal. He's the biggest one I've ever seen... The fallen tree root system is about 25 feet across left over from hurricane wilma. I figure he's probably close to 5 feet long.

lkjaskldfnasklnfklzngfanfansdA GODDAMMIT
why don't you people catch these things for me?!?!?!
kjsnfkjabnfjznfa I've caught iguanas bigger than that and kept them as pets down in south florida.
Yeah he's a big boy... they're also very territorial... that's why I'm not giving stolen the coordinates
wtf? is that a joke? may i ask why you're not giving me the coordinates? is it because you want to look at him? or because you're concerned for my safety haha?
FYI, all animals such as iguanas like that SHOULD be removed from the wild. they are not native and not good for the natural ecosystem in our area....the state recommends "humane euthanasia" for iguanas in florida. if i catch the thing first, it would be turned into an educational tool.
You should see the big ass non-native wild snakes down here.
lol i live just as far south as you...just other coast. i've seen the burmese pythons in the wild. why do you think we hit up the swamps around everglades city all the time? we're always lookin for em. probably <1000 snakes out there....but give em enough time to breed and we've got major problems.
just look at guam....a single non-native snake wiped out the entire bird population. now florida isnt so isolated, but given how human development has chopped up the environment, 1 or 2 snakes could clear several square miles of native animals in a matter of months....
i've caught reptiles (including gators, snakes, iguanas) in the US, Canada, Bahamas, Mexico, Belize. My list of herp species that i've caught (not HERPES lol) is over 3 pages long in 10pt font haha.
i'm not out to get that 1 iguana if Tcpfl actually told me the location, i know where several thousand of them are closer to my house (aka Boca grande with the black mexican iguana), but i'd like to know where the green iguanas are on islands on the other coast. Green iguanas are much more rare on our coast, we get more monitor lizards, burmese pythons, and mexican iguanas around my parts.
yes, msgunny. iguanas are a delicacy in every country they are native too. never eaten one myself, but i've heard nothing but good things.

Dang stolen... calm down dude. There are some very unfriendly 2 legged critters who own that property which is why I couldn't get any closer. I'm just concerned for your safety.
All seriousness aside, I'd like to find out if they really do taste like chicken.
