that was a pretty cool video. wonder if they took the same route as the great divide challenge that happened in the early 90's?

The video is Poughkeepsie Gulch. I wonder if th LR3's were tugged or winched up that rock? I was on that trail with one, and with the mud and crappy ass street tires, it just couldn't make it up on it's own no matter how we tried. My IIA made it up the flatter slab though.

If anyone is interested in this year's challenge, there may be room for one or two more vehicles. Check the site at www.offroving.com. I'm signed up for this years trip, and everyone who goes gets a set of Cooper Zeon LTZ's, among other things.

Wow, $4800 ........
The trips I can have with that money. I guess I'm just a cheap bastard.
You saw the fancy trip. Great Divide Challenge II is camping the divide this year on many of the same trails. Only $1200, includes chef prepared meals, riverrafting, and....the Coopers among other things. Can't wait...just put on the Coopers and the truck looks outstanding!
That is awesome. I wish I could go, but priorities call. The pic in my sig is from up there, its where I got married! Awesome place to be. My father used to drive us up there in one of his old Power wagons like a maniac and we would take pictures with family from out of town or just family pictures. The Rover does a lot better than dad's old Dodge
