Default Ruffin' it with the kids...

This past weekend was a great weekend. I bought the Disco last month with the blown head gasket and this is what I have been working for since then. My wife had other obligations this past w/e so me and the kids set out for a Daddy's weekend in the woods. They, the kids, have named the Rover...Roxy. Why and where you might ask? Who knows why kids do anything?!? It was wonderful being up there away from everything. Absolutely impossible to get there without the truck. Don't even know if I could've done it on the KLR650. I had a friend who went along so it was wonderful when he got his vehicle stuck crossing a ditch and I had to help to get him out. We were able to hook up with brooksa and do some wheelin' with him as well! Great meeting you this w/e!

Not to start some vicious thread about the "best bull bar" but this is what I just had made for my truck. Pictured as is, lights included Hella fogs, for about $850. VERY STOUT! Check him out at Kennesaw Mountain Accessories. Under "Custom Projects" He does some other parts too. Local with mounting included.

Here are the pictures of my weekend of fun. All this was around Amicalola Falls Forest Service Roads and Nimblewill Gap area. We camped up on top of Black Mountain at the top of Forest Service Road 665. We rode FS28-3, FS28-2, FS42, FS28-1, FS58 and a few more. But that should tell you pretty much where we were at. I would NOT go back without a chainsaw. We camped up on top of Black Mtn and the storm came through on Friday nite. We expected it but were prepared for it. I just worried all night that a tree would have fallen and we wouldn't be able to get out too easily but we were saved that problem in the am. Only nice wet roads! It was a blast!

No, my electrical system is ok, the lights just look very dim from the dried mud on the lens.

This is brooksa truck. I think this is the only pics I could find of your truck. You got more to add?

looks like a blast...thats hardly a bull bar, its a full on bumper lol totally badass.

I'd relocate your washer fluid reservoir or spray paint it black to hide it.

brooksa, try uploading them to photobucket.

I just had the bumper mounted on Monday. But yeah, I have been following the thread on "washer fluid relocation". I am waiting on you to buy me one of those sweet aluminum slimline models and have it dropped shipped to my house. PM and I will give you the SHIP TO address stolenheron.

Mine's on it's way overseas as we type. lol!

Pics look like you had a good time, Micah. Bumper turned out a lot better than I thought it would. Clean install, too.

Great photos man! I was up there about a month ago with a friend. We'll all have to plan a trip together some weekend over the summer.
