Default Spare Parts when Wheeling

What(extra or spare) parts do you carry when off-roading?(U-joints,axels,bearings,ect)(parts that are likely to fail list).Obviously the terrain and or trail difficulty will have effect on answer here.Is there(must have with you at all times regardless list ?My motive for questioning would be more related to event like National Rally.Any input or suggestions would be welcome.

This answer would change obviously if we knew how your rig was set up to begin with. This is just a general list. With a stock truck, I would bring a pair of extra axle shafts for the rear. Front and rear axle bearings. Extra fluids, including diff oil. Extra belt(s) depending on engine. Extra filters, including 2 for the air filter, in case of water intrusion. Extra MAF, since landies love to kill them. Plug and patch kit for tires. Off road base for a hi-lift, and a Hi-lift if you don't have one already. Bearing grease. A good tool kit obviously. Recovery gear with at least one extra strap for the murphy's law scenarios. Fuses, relays. A pair of battery posts. Extra wiring in the correct guage to replace starter leads. Bulbs for head and tail lights. (Blinkers and reverse can be worried about after you get home) Flashlight(s) and batteries. Head mounted lamp is always great to have. Work gloves. Safety glasses. Nitrile rubber gloves are great to keep in the truck.

Thank you, very imformative response.I thought about giving info specific to my vehicle.I guess that is very relevant to how I use it and what might fail because of it.Right now,it is fairly stock.2" lift,265/75/16 M/T's.Soon to have Tru Trac(at least in rear if not both front as well).Drivetrain is stock otherwise. Will have some under protection(diff guards, ect) by time I head for Leadville. Don't really drive it much.Only time I get really crazy is Rally.
I guess I was looking for a generic(which you did great job) of parts prone to failure that I might have to fix or replace out on the trail.

basic items belts, a/f F/F jumper cables axles and a spare diff In reality it doesn't matter what you bring unless you tow your trucks twin behind you, since you'll break something you didn't think to bring anyways.

It is after all a Rover and possed by mean spirited British Demons.

You might also consider a punching bag, or an axe to split some wood just in case you need to let some aggression out I remember when my brother blew apart his front diff on a trail at Uwharrie National Forest, we left the trail at 6am the next morning... but it was actually kind of fun
