Default St. Jo state park

i think there should be more land rovers out at missouri state park st. joe right next to the old mines....its only $3 for a day or two and all you need is your rover and an orange flag that sits higher than your truck they have over 22,000 acres for off roading....oh and if you don't have a flag they sell them for $11 ....its a fun place to bring your rover...

Default St.Joe

I remember that place from my jeep days(before it was a state park it was called #9.It was trail riding paradise.there was an area called "the wall".I saw some insanity there. There were no rules(part of problem)(some people got hurt) and now there are too many rules(for me).Suggested to STL Rover club to check it out but we went to a place(close to St.Joe) called Washita OR park(just south of Farmington). It was fun and had some challenging trails as well.

Default Hard Times

There is not much economic growth in that area.Times are tough and they are doing whatever to make things work. Also not a lot of (free) open land to wheel on so unless you own your own it's not much(costs). At Washita(and St.Joe) for that matter) there is camping available and also facilities to air back up.It must be nice to have access to open range.
