Default Why off roading in Eastern NC sucks.

Thought i would show you all some of the "extreem" trails we have here.

That looks like the swamps down here except you don't have as much water to go through.

yeah. looks kinda like some of the trails in south florida....its flat, and wet. but nice pics!

Looks like some nice rod racks for surf fishing in the back of the series. Glad to see it's getting used.

Something about low hanging branches and IM7 fishing poles and how they dont mix well.

I do put my surf rods in there when i am going to the beach though.

I'd agree the pine lowlands tracks are not too well suited for toting about that custom Hatteras lama-glass surf casting wonder stick......Might best switch to a 2-piece StCroix or some such.

Then there's always the option available on your side of carolina....... turn east on 70 to Atlantic or Davis and ferry the 88"s of birmabright out to the Core banks.... Yes, it's still mostly tame wheeling, but a plenty of beach and tracks behind the dunes to run...

Thought the wheeling was closed out that way, i have been wanting to go up there to catch some reds, blues and stripers from the beach but dont want to have to hump my gear the mile or what ever to the beach at Hatteras.
