Default Winch, etc.

This is my first post so here goes.

I bought a 06 Range about 2 weeks ago. My daily is a 04 CTS-V...love it. I threw some Blizzacks on it last winter but it sucked. So, I figured I would pick up a true 4X4.

Now, a little histoy. I did some pretty serious wheeling a few years ago in a 93 ZJ. It had a 4" lift with locking front and rear difs. It also had TSL swampers and custom rock rails. The front bumper was a trailready with a ramsey 9500. I have respect for both the Jeep and Rover crowd as I did some great wheeling with a couple of dico's and defenders at the Badlands in Indiana.

Anyways, I would love to put the Ramsey on range as well as the hi-lift.
Here's the other part...I will be driving this primarily in the winter and I am a "professional", so it needs to look relatively aesthetically pleasing.

Had anybody mounted a Ramsey on a MK???.

All thoughts and opinions are most welcomed.

Cheers,
Brian

Right...thanks for the advice. BTW, what is a t-max? If it is an '06 Range Rover with a winch on the front, I think you are right.

If you want to make life simple for yourself, though pricey; just order the kit from your dealer's parts counter. You can get the winch tray and the winch as a package, and have it dealer installed for the factory look, and no warranty issues.
You really shouldn't worry about the hi-lift as there are no lifting points on the truck stock that won't get damaged. Too much plastic coverings on the lowers of the truck, so just drop that idea before doing body damage.
