Exclamation Dealership tech/supervisor help appreciated

I remember that there are a few Dealership techs here:

Here is my dilemna going on with my wifes Lexus LS 400

Three weeks ago while out driving I stopped to fill the tank and check the oil.
The car was just serviced a week prior and a full maintenance complete with oil change was performed ($300)

So you could imagine my shock n Horror when I saw that the dip stick was only registering a tenth of oil high.
I couldnt believe it.
I checked it ten times in a row.
Even showed it to a guy next to me in a GMC Pickup.
So I poured a whole quart of oil into the car that I had in the trunk and topped it off when we got home.

The dealership is trying to make like it's not a big deal, but it is to me.
That is an expensive engine to rebuild.
Aside from that, it is my wifes daily driver and I dont want her getting stranded on her 60 min commute.
The dealership is trying to make up for it with a free service in the future, but I told them that I would rather have something done that I know was performed, like a new timing belt or new shocks.
The service guy thinks I am kidding, but Im not.
I told him that Im serious.
That car is in perfect shape. People think it is brand new when riding in it.
I would expect this from a small indy shop, but not from Lexus of Riverside.
They are huge.
Any suggestions?

Your car was serviced by a human being. They make mistakes. Even embarrasing ones like this. The last perfect man was hung on a cross a coupla' thousand years ago. They didn't even check the oil? Or worse, is the plug loose and it all leaked out? Look under it in the garage.
If the oil was on the stick, it wasn't low enough to damage anything. If memory serves correctly, they hold 5.5 or so quarts. It'll run fine on one. Asking for a free trip to Paris because they shorted you a quart of oil is a bit extreme. Call corporate and see what they say. Lexus has always been very fair. I'm sure they'll throw you a bone. Even on a 10-year old car.

I agree Frick, the car is old, it is Lexus Certified to 100,000 miles and literally is the car the little old lady from Pasedena drove. That is why we bought it 2 years ago.

If it were here I would snap a pic though and you could see that the paint, body is like new, and the interior is spotless.
My wife is annoyed that the service guy said it was old. The car looky new.

My nextstep was to inform the Lexus main hub about the situation and let them decide wat sounds fair.

No oil leaked from the car, it would show on my garage floor and it is as clean as a hospital floor.

Well, that's good news. One gets away once on a while with a messy oops, and it's never a good thing. It's also damned near impossible to regain the trust of the customer. Low on oil is way better than a leaking filter or loose drain plug, but still not acceptable by any means. Especially for "the relentless pursuit of perfection."
To put it in mild terms, it is indeed old. If it were a Taurus, it would be in a junkyard, sandwiched between a Neon and an Impala. But, alas, it's a Lexus, and boring as it may be, the damned thing will last forever. They build a Helluva' car.

Compared to a M3 or M5, yes it is a gramma looking auto.
But I have taken that car to some great speeds.

It's a sleeper.

Now Im depressed.

Im going to go tell my wife to buy a corvette.
