Default Dodge 2500 Cummins

Anyone here have a Dodge 2500 Cummins Truck. Im thinking of buying one in about 3 or 4 months and didn't know if anyone here has one that could give some good info. Im thinking about an 05 or 06 Bighorn Edition with a 6 speed manual transmission and then adding some Banks aftermarket accessories like a Monster Exhaust and Power Pack etc etc....

TIA

-Jason

the power pack for diesels...that's the thing you plug in and can get power boosts and stuff right???

ive heard both ways, but does that void the warranty

Yeah it does boost power and torque and will def void the warranty if I were to buy one with a warranty. Probably will buy something used though but you are correct, it will void any warranty.

This is what comes with the Banks Power Pack.....

my dad has a 2001 2500 short box club cab. by far the best full size diesel pickup you can buy. never want for power, esp. in NC. around here some of the big mtn. passes will test it with our 25ft travel trailer but it still does just fine. overall a great truck, hasn't given us any problems. don't buy one with an auto though. esp if you are planning on towing anything. we had a 94 again with the cummins only prob we had with that truck was the auto consistently went out. and i've heard that if you never tow you can get away with the auto but if you try to tow it will give out. here's a pic of my dads and his buddies 04

if you have any other specific questions just ask.

Thanks for the info....Im def. getting a manual....I really am not very fond of automatic transmissions when towing.
