I have played the guitar since I was 15, so I have a deep appreciation for Zakk Wilde. He is also a god to me. Black Label Society is good. Bless his heart, but I think Zakk should stick to shredding and singing, and no more song writing.

Dont get me started on that weasel Zakk.

I have a huge beef with him. I'm one of the unfortunate people that lost money in the 357Customs/Zakk scam. Not only did they scam my money from my order for 2 Zak camo guitars, they double billed me so I ended up paying for 4 guitars that I will never see.

The whole way Zak back pedaled out of that mess and then let the whole lawsuit just drop off was nothing but a back stab to fans that got scammed.

I love BLS but I cant even listen to any of my BLS music anymore without getting angry at that scum bag. I'm sure if you were to bring up the name 357 Customs around him, it wont be a pretty time.

I'm not really thinking that it will ever be resolved, but should the conversation between you and Zakk come up, you can you toss my situation out there to him and mention that you have a pal that got hit in the scam and lost quite a bit because of his love of BLS.

far as I know Zakk is aware of the scam from 357. I have never had the Balls to Bring it up around him in the past as I know what a sore subject it is with him.I DO know that he does have a legal team the represents his buisness intrests that are still working on getting this shit sorted out asap. This has been dragging on for a VERY LONG time now and there were several thousand people that got ripped in the end.
Zakk has no real ties with 357 promotions as far as I am aware but they were working with his people. I don't believe Zakk is directly to blame for this as He hire's people to deal with things like this for him,however the people he hired a total fuck tards. Both David and Janice are no longer part of the "family". Not sure where that leaves you guy's at the moment but I do hope this gets resolved soon. To show there is no preferential treatments to people...I lost out too and I am an official Doom Crew Member sponsored by Zakk himself.I was pretty pissed too but I don't think zakk should have to pay out of his own pocket to cover the costs. Although it would be a fantastic jesture.
Chris to be honest it's not the first time I have heard of billing irregularities in this particular case.It's bullshit that needs to be sorted out asap.
Unfortunately Zakk is with his family now and is preparing for his next tour and I doubt he will have the time to fix this as he's still shagged from his tour with Ozzy in central America and ozzfest plus recording new stuff.

If you missed my "see ya" post, i have been floating around the Atlantic for the past week on my way to the Med on the USS San Antonio. They finally slowed down enough to get a bit of connectivity.

Since you all brought up music: Static-X, System of a down, Dammage Plan, Slipknot, Mudvayne, Coal Chamber, Papa Roach and a lot more are on my MP3 player that i hook up to my tanks intercom.

Its fun shooting and listening to "motaviting" music.

couldn't help but notice you guys talkin bout metal, I'm a pretty huge metal head more of the black and death metal like dimmu borgir, rammstein, and children of bodom, but I like slipknot and the more mainstream as well. I'm hopin to make it to ozzfest next year, possibly I'll see ya there

Thats great. Love children of Bodom. Thankfully they will be joining Slipknot on their tour that will be starting in November this year.For Europe sorry. Have never seen them live but am looking forward to it.! Nice to see we have some Members on here that have some taste.

Hi Gunny- Congrats on being on board LPD-17! What a fantastic vessel.At such an early age she has got some realy interesting stories behind her. Ask around the decks the squids will tell ya about her if you already don't know.

Sorry about the experience Brother. It's not right that the money issues have not been sorted out yet. Honestly,I agree this should have been sorted out instantly. I cant imagine why it has taken so long. I have heard on the grapevine that there is an active lawsuit against 357 on behalf of Zakks buisness intrest group.It,from I understand,is quite ugly and bitter. I have not got the whole story but it is my understanding that it DOES involve the specific promotion around the Guitars.
Zakk hasn't made a specific release of information to the affected people yet due to some sort of issue that goes far deeper than you or I will ever know about. I have it on good authority that this is being dealt with. I trust my source. Wouldnt expect an immediate fix but at leaast there is some light at the end of the tunnel.
If I knew/planned enough ahead of time I would have gathered up all the names of those in Texas and offered a trip to Ozzfest. You could have met zakk and shared your concern. I genuinely believe he would have listened and shared your concern. Hell he may have given ya one of his...he realy is that sort of guy.

Anyway...despite my affiliation with the "damned" are we still friends? I'll let you pick me up in the "free candy van" and duct tie me up as you and kelli have you devient ways with me. Will it help mend the fence?
