Thats the fun of being on these kind of deployments, you really dont know exactly where you are going or what you are going to do until you get in the area.

Could end up in Georgia, Afganistan, evacing an embassy somewhere, or just training with other militaries and visiting liberty ports and drinking lots of beer.

Just so you know, that lawsuit was dropped out of court last year for lack of action.

I dont know of any new legal action being taken if in reality anything still, in the name of helping us fans that got screwed but if there is indeed anything really happening, no one has ever attempted to contact us. I know I've sent countless emails to just about any email address I could find remotely relating to this and again after I changed my address and to date have had no replies. Doesnt seem like too much effort is being made at all to help us.

Just because you work for the guy doesnt mean I have a beef with you. I'll be glad to meet ya, buy ya a beer and then duct tape you up if you like. I'm simply saying, you are getting the full front line brunt force of the legal smoke screen being feed to the public to cover his own ass. As to Zakks true nature of being a great guy, I'm sure he's a peach to those that know him but even if he were to offer me one of his own guitars, as much as I would love to have one of his sexy genuine Gibsons, honestly I dont think couldn't take the dudes personal ax under this situation. To take it if it was given as a token of appreciation would be ok, but not as a buy-off..that wouldn't be cool while over 900 other guitar orders were still hanging in the breeze. I dont know, I guess it strikes a personal moral conflict inside me taking something under that situation. Honestly I would rather see him put more public effort in bringing another lawsuit back to life for those of us that got scammed, getting Dan arrested, or even maybe getting some kind of discount deal with Epiphone for those than can prove their purchases. I dont know.. just some kind of forward moment to all of us that got burned since he is in an ideal position to do more than whats been done.

I have been asking around about what the fuck is going on. I have found out that there is an active LAwsuit going on. The 357 promotion rip is only a small part of and underlying issue. Included in the case is the specific 357 promo involving the Guitars. There is a licencing issue that only key folk know about and wont comment on for obvious reasons. Since the origional was dropped they have been advised to take a different approach. One of the hold up factors is apparently there is an issue being taken with something that Dimebags estate was involved with. I can only imagine how quiet thats going to be kept. I would'nt want to Piss Rita (Dime's old lady) off and apparently thats whats happened. I have no more info other than that. I sure hope this gets resolved for you and many others (including myself).
