Suspected insurgent leader held in Iraq

BAGHDAD, Iraq - A suspected al-Qaida linked insurgent leader accused of financing attacks and recruiting fighters was captured in southern Iraq, Iraqi police said Friday. The U.S. military also said it was investigating reports of civilian casualties in fierce fighting in the volatile city of Ramadi.
So this begs a question. Do the insurgents ask for money? Like as in, are they paid? So if it is truly "God's work" why do they need to be paid? I know the money goes to buy food and bullets and bomb making stuff. But that's an interesting question I think.

U.S. soldier gets 100 years for Iraq rape, killings

FORT CAMPBELL, Kentucky (AP) -- A U.S. soldier was sentenced to 100 years in prison Thursday for the gang rape and murder of an Iraqi girl and the killing of her family last year. Sgt. Paul E. Cortez, 24, also was given a dishonorable discharge. He will be eligible for parole in 10 years under the terms of his plea agreement.
This is a horrible crime. He should be shot.

Britain's Prince Harry to serve in Iraq

LONDON - Prince Harry, third in line to the British throne, is getting his wish to serve in Iraq. The Ministry of Defense ended speculation that had been swirling for about a week by announcing Thursday the 22-year-old prince will be sent to Iraq with his Blues and Royals regiment in May or June. Harry, a second lieutenant, will assume a troop commander's role.
Well, he'll serve there until the bring him home in a few months after he gets there.

I haven't been watching it that close but I don't think the Heat can repeat. So get the surgery man.

A vicious attack on a Saskatoon referee may actually have saved his life, after doctors examined him and noticed a brain tumour. Doctors first treated Dale Neudorf for a broken nose and split lip -- injuries he suffered when hockey player Nolan Crighton allegedly cross-checked him in the face.
It was a rec game. Nolan needs to find something else to do with his free time.

No, I dont think they should kill him! He doesnt deserve that easy of a way out! He deserves to have his d%ck removed with a rusty butter knife! That is like those people that say it is unconstitutional to make sexual predators post that what they are, because they say it is a disease and they can't help it!
