F1 is my only interest in racing! Yeah, I know the opposing arguments.

NASCAR reminds me of my 36 mile commute in and out of Chicago everyday. Talk about drafting, trading paint, hand signals! hahaha

I finally did figure out why NASCAR exists though! The Ballad of Ricky Bobby to poke fun at it!

firesuit on! hahaha

Not much for the roundy rounds myself. Just being the weekend is excuse enough to drink beer. Although getting through another workday is also a good excuse to drink beer!

Well, I never thought I'd be able to say this (MAN I love sayin it)...after having the opportunity to drive a NASCAR, I became an EVEN bigger fan! Taking a banked turn at 150+ does some CRAZY stuff to your stomach and head! Its also much harder to spot other cars around you, maintain your line, and defend your position all at the same time and this makes it all the more difficult to make a good decision. Also, NASCAR isn't just about the drivers, but the teams and the cars! Its astonishing that an engine can even put up with the heat and stress from a single race! If you keep the science of NASCAR present, you'll enjoy watching it even more.

I'm not saying its better than any other type of racing, only justifying the unseen complexity of the sport.

OH and JUNGLE!!......I'm a big Gordon fan as well!!

I like NASCAR, just cause when you see a live race, it is actually thrilling watching a car travel 180 mph down a track.....making left turns.

Plus the sound of 800 horses is pretty cool, that, and the sound of multiple cars flyin' by at 180 mph. Crashes are cool too.

I don't have a favorite, but a real cool guy has to be Richard Petty.

Props to the racers, cars, teams, races, fans, etc. but it does nothing for me, as football, basketball, and baseball do not either. Live is a different thing all together! I'll watch all those in person with spicy polish dogs and Guiness on hand.

Hockey and F1 are all I can watch regularly on T.V. Oh... and any superbowl with the Bears/Broncos involved.

That would be a ball to drive a NASCAR on a track though! I'd also like to rip around in the two seater F1 car (they sit inline)!!!!

Thor... I feel the same way about the sports you mentioned, not just on TV either...they just dont tickle my pickle. Only thing I can watch on TV and REALLY enjoy Live is College Football. Doesn't mean I know the player's names or follow the sport of anything, but If I happen to be invited to a game ro flip by it on TV, i'll stop and watch. There's something about college football I obviously like over NFL, but I dont even know what it is.

I was actually at the Panthers/Cayotes game and it was the first game I attended that I actually paid attention to and liked A LOT! Still not enough to follow it.

But yeah, motorsports is where it's all at (and where the hotties are at within the stands )

I would honestly go to any kind of Motorsports event. Anything from Bikes, Drag Racing, NASCAR, Formula, Touring Cars, Tractor Pulls, Supertruck, etc..

Plus the smell of the exhaust is cool, with every pass of the pack of cars. Racing fuel (Turbo Blue, and others) exhaust brings memories of High School Drag Racing back in early 2005.

NASCAR is cool to watch. Wait for the start of the race and watch the first 10 or so laps. Go do something else for a few hours then come back in and catch the last 10 laps... it's perfect. I've only been to Talledaga and the feeling you get as they zooooom by is uncomparable. Growing up in NC with Rusty Wallace and Terry Labonte on the same block kind of forces you to like NASCAR. And our neighbors used to throw the best Daytona parties.

And how bout that ending yesterday?!? It was amazing! I feel bad for Mark Martin. Was hoping he would finally win it.
