Default Fond memmories or Regret?

Regrets...I've had a few.....
I was looking at some old pictures the other day and found some of old cars past. There were some that I couldn't wait to see the back of and some I miss terribly and think..WTF was I thinking selling that! I was wondering what cars or trucks you have had in the past that you regret selling on and those you couldnt wait to get rid of. For me my biggest regret was my first 4x4.It was a 1977 International Scout.I loved that bastard to death and sold it on to buy a Ford Mustang GT.(which is one of the many I found to be on my top ten poor car purchases!!) My all time worst car purchase ended up being(I can't believe I am going to admit this...)a Peougot 505 that I sold on after 3 days!!! Piece of SHIT!!!!Made a profit of $18!!! Any way how about you?? If I can own up to owning a Frech car Griff and Rover can admit to their Yugo purchases........ so how about it????

My first 4x4.....Nissan 1970 G60 Patrol

Engine: P40, 3.9 liter inline six cyl.
Trans: Standard 3 speed, synchronized manual
Transfer Case: 2 speed
Axles: Full floating Birfield joint type
Brakes: 4 wheel drums
Off Road Gear: Aluminium Roll Cage/Roof Rack
Winch: Warn integrated with wrap around steel bull bar
Color: Gree/ White removable fiberglass rear
Racks for all equipment- shovels/jerry cans/water cans/axe/pick
Mounted spot lights on the rack and the bull bar - 8 in total (additional amp for them)
Dual long range integrated fuel tanks

I absolutely regret the decision to sell that beast - when I go home to Perth I always keep an eye out for her....if I saw it I would offer the bloke $$$$ on the spot to have it again.......I loved that truck!! I bought her for $4000 in 1987 from a bloke that crossd the country in it - he had a map of Aust painted on the hood with the path taken (was kinda cool so i left it)

If you dont know what I am talking about this is a photo of a similar one....

Also regret selling my first in the USA...a 1972 Ford Bronco convertible - old school style...they are awesome!

I have no regrets about selling vehicle I've had, except for my '97 TJ. That thing never gave me any trouble and was great to be able to drop the top. Jeeps are almost as fun to modify as Rovers. The thing had to go because we had 4 cars... the D90 got the Jeep's garage spot.

Worst cars I ever had and actually enjoyed selling... my 1980 Chevy Citation (silver with white interior - it was the 80's, and an AM stereo mounted vertically - stock); my '88 Ford Bronco - 'nough said.

I always have regretted selling the hoopde. '65 Impala. Dang sweet car. Looked funny with a white dude driving it though. But the sucker ran like a dream. Love those cars.

Gave the '67 Mustang away to a friend.

Gave the '79 RX7 away.

Gave the '74 Maverick away.

Sold the J##p.

Sold the chevy 4x4.

Repo'd the '00 Mazda Protege (divorce).

Repo'd the '00 Honda Accord (divorce).

Totalled the '67 GMC pickup truck.

Sold the '93 Camry.

Totalled the Yamaha Seca.

Sold the Rav4 (ashamed to have ever owned one - will deny it forever).

Sold the GMC 4x4.

Sold the Dodge 4x4.

Sold the Honda prelude - tried like hell to blow that engine up.

Dang, I think the Rover is the longest I have ever owned a vehicle. Ony vehicle I regret getting rid of is the hoopde.

Three regrets in my life

1) Not buying a 1960's Series II Diesel pickup for R8000 when I had the cash,
I rather paid attention to my older brother and used the cash to further my education.

2) Not buying a 1985 Honda Goldwing 1200 bike with full fearing, boxes the works, for R10 000. Again I did what my older Brother said.

3) Totalling my 1983 Ford Pickup while still owing money on it and had no Insurance on it!!
