That's cool! Its curious that I can't find its shadow...

Here's another, perhaps a bit more obvious one: 21 18 21.64 N 157 56 18.58 W

There are some areas with such great resolution, that I wonder if you can see sunbathers. Hmmmm...

What the chances you catch a plane in the satellite fly by...let alone catching a vintage ww2 plane flying.

Actually, the chances of catching a aircraft in flight are quite high, though I agree with Series 3 about the photochop of the vintage one (no shadow).

Approach and departure corridors for the busier airports will have a ton of aircraft on final or off the departure end, especially during the day.

I found the one off Hawaii because I was comparing resolutions in the varios Naval bases I've been to and figured that the Pearl Harbor area would have some pretty good development (it does), while others still have poor resolution (who can guess which ones and why?).

But since I became an LRO addict, I've had to cut down on my other procrastination activities, so if anyone comes across some rooftop or abandoned-beach sunbathers, let me know...

sweet, i think it could be a real shot, look at the shadows on the houses. with the altitude of the plane, the shadow could easily be off the picture.

I though of that as well, and searched along the projection line to see if I could find a shadow. No joy. The other thing it could be is that it's high enough that the shadow is lost (difused by scatter).

There's an airfield just north of that location, so it would make sense to see an aircraft in that area.

We should all recognise what's at:

52 26' 11.63"N
01 46' 05.29"W

Too many Freelanders in the shipping bays, not enough Defenders. However, there some interesting camo-painted Landys in the pale-tarmac car park just above the off-road course
