My first car was an 86' Caprice Classic (you have to remember, I had my license in 89), then an 89' Ford Bronco (fullsize), then when I was in college, they bought me a new Jeep Cherokee Country that I modded the hell out of. 3" lift, lockers, ARB Bull bar, everything. That vehicle was never taken away, but again.. I was 21 at the time. Oh man.. that was a trip down memory lane.
Im in that same boat....Im 21 now and my parents have bought my three vehicles and paid for the insurance, gas, and maintainence as well. I started out with a 92 Mazda 929. I sold it after 2 years and had my moms volkswagon for 6 months. Having the VW was part of the deal for getting a vehicle of my choice which ended up being the D90. To keep the miles off the D90 i bought a 97 Tacoma. I have done some stupid things in my past and have had them taken away many of times but it will blow over quicker than you think.

I had a buddy who had one in high school and I have loved them ever since I laid eyes on one.

That hurts dude! Is the Rover under your name? If it is, why did your parents take it away from you? My Rover is under my parents name and said if I, for whatever reason, wrecked the thing, they would sell it. Now this also includes little fender benders where I could do the body repair, or if someone were to hit, they would still sell it. I tried to talk into letting me put it in my name and pay the registration and the insurance but that hasn't happened yet.

My best friend has an '04 330xi. Mystic blue with a grey interior. Was yours stick? He had to get the manumatic because his mom can't drive stick. My god is it a nice car though. Too bad he put it in a ditch like 3 months after he got it.

That tends to happen to younger people who get nice fast vehicles...

no, it wasnt stick...it had the "manumatic"-shift tronic thing too. I drove it before I even had my permit.....parking lots and private roads. Was fun though.....I sold it and was forced to split the money between me and my sister. I could have bought a D90 otherwise, though I think I made a better decision anyway...a D90 wouldnt have been very practical for the price (but I would still kill for one! )

This was it:

Your right....This has nothing to do with 01001010's situation but most kids tend to tear up stuff that their parents gave to them. I am glad to say that except my very first car i have done nothing but appreciate the vehicles i have been bought and absolutly take care of my D90 like no other. Hell i usually chat with the old man once or twice a day about the thing and always make sure he knows how much i appreciate it.

Oh and btw, you have had a lot of vehicles....Racing may not be your thing...
