Lightbulb How to backup your DVD movies

Howdy,

I thought that some of you may find this useful.

If you have some DVD's that you would like to backup, a nifty and FREE program out on the net called DVD Shrink is the way to go if you have a DVD+/-RW drive on your computer.

I have been using this for 3 years now, and it is a great program! This also includes a tutorial for those that need it.

Cheers

DVD Shrink works great for shrinking the movies down to a size that will fit on a single layer DVD.

Sometimes, it will not be able to get through the copy protection, so I use DVD Decrypter. When THAT doesn't work, I use DVD Fab Decrypter.

Once you get the movie off the disk and into your computer, DVD Shrink works great.

Talking

Yup, what Dan said

For the novice, DVD shrink is great.

DVDSanta is another great program, because it lets you take any *.avi, *.mpg, *.divx, *.xvid, etc. file and turn it into a DVD. Great for taking those musical concert clips and watching them on a flat screen tv.
