I agree 100%. Everything in that statement could be said and would be true in the US as well. But I doubt any of the pansy leaders here would say that. At least not in public.

I couldn't agree more as well... I was born in another country, as were my parents and maternal grandparents. All chose to live here and adapt and adopt the customs and language of this country. My wife was also born in a foreign country but chose to come here as well. Our kids were both born here. None of this has caused us to want to demand special treatment or consideration over and above the tremendous freedoms and rights we have here, nor have we forgotten what those traditions or languages are. The Austrailian PM couldn't have said it more clearly or, for that matter, in a more politically correct way.
