People do things like that because they crave attention. They cannot score attention by what they offer, because they just aren't that talented, or even cleaver or smart. So, to get attention, they make themselves appear unusual and tell people its a form of 'Self-expression'.

In the end, they are simply Mentally Ill.

The two guys with the guages nostrils...does that mean they dont smell well since they dont have as much hair (if any)?
