Does anyone else use Pandora for internet radio? I got an email yesterday saying that if you listen more than 40 hrs. in one month, they will start charging you after 40 hrs. $.99 for the remainder of that month. Just came as a surprise to me.

I work from 8:30 - 5:30 typically every day, and use up my 40 hrs in one week. Not bitching about the $.99, but just wanted to see who else here uses Pandora to help them thru the day?

If you don't know what pandora is, go to Pandora Radio - Listen to Free Internet Radio, Find New Music, its free(semi) internet radio, where you can create your own stations. Been using it for several years now, and love it.

I listen to it in my Rover. I did not get such an email. You'll know if they ask for your CC #.

It is what gets me out of bed every day, and to the studio. I would happily pay more than that. It's the best thing since bread. I could go on, and on, and on..............

What are a few of your favorite stations? My current favorites are Gorillaz, Madcon, Animnal Collective, RJD2. Do share.

I have a Zeppelin, Buckethead, Smashing Pumpkins, Dead, MC5....the list could go on....

A coworker just told me about a site called Slacker Personal Radio - Listen to Free Internet Radio Stations which is supposedly similar to Pandora.

How would they charge you? You don't register with a credit card number. Play it for 40 hours straight and see what happens.

Slacker is pretty good, but love Pandora, James Taylor, Zak Brown Band, Journey, Matchbox 20, Our Lady Peace just a few, its on my BlackBerry and what gets me through long work days!

In the Rover, I tether to my iPhone.

I use slacker and like it ...You can customise it with personal play lists but that will set you back a few dollars ..Otherwise it is free ..
