Paul Blart the Mall Cop is alive and well in San Antonio
While I was shopping with a fellow troop at the Target by our hotel I cam across this and damn near pissed myself when the fat man with a mustache threw on the bike helmet hit the lights and horn and chased a shop lifter out into the parking lot. He didn't catch him but it was hiliarious.
Oh and if you ever need a hotel to stay at in San Antonio the aLoft hotel by the Airport is the bomb.

i was pulled over by a cop today on one of those. he was a real cop though, not some wannabee on a segway. we came to a stop at the same time at a stop sign and he could hear my music. pulled me over asking me if i knew about the noise ordinance...blah blah blah.
i got off with a warning luckily. bastard would have given me a $145 ticket otherwise. i was listening to acoustic music no less!
cops in this town are horrible. i've been pulled over 7 times in a year and have only been pulled over once in my life before i moved here.

I know one of the "cops" there. He's actually a student safety officer but he knows people. From What I've gathered, they don't care. I guess they don't like the lifted trucks.

i've met over a dozen officers in AUPD over the past 2 years. and out of the only 1 was truely friendly and seem chill, 2 were nuetral, the other 9 were total dicks.
story time:
-i got bit by a possibly rabid squirrel in late march of my freshman year. I called the Auburn Animal control, due to it was a bite scenario, they called the cops to file a bite report. these 2 (1 black, 1 white, not that it matters) steroid ridden monster cops come up to my apartment. I'm sterilizing my thumb and wrapping it up while they start questioning me. I've never been treated more like shit in my life, and I in fact was the the victim. since when do you get treated like a criminal for trying to pick up a hurt animal? (That turned out to be ANGRY and hurt haha). i've NEVER in my life thought poorly of police officers, they serve their communities like no other occupation (expect EMTs, Fire Dept) and put their lives on the line daily. I am very thankful of that, but AUPD have got to be the most ill-mannered, rude, and shitty police dept i've ever encountered in my life.
i'm really surprised michael didnt get a ticket, those guys love excuses to write people up, especially students.

You tried to pick up a hurt squirrel? That sounds like something my wife would do, she's an animal lover too. She fed a bird for two weeks after it got run over by a lawn mower.. It almost lived...

I think the rover could have run that little trike looking thing over without thinking about it. I'm surprised you didn't just run him down when he pulled you over. Stupid f-ing pig.
