that was an awfully short rant!

I like winter, but the dark early thing does suck.

Here I thought this was going to be about " Mr. John " having jealousy issues again.

I'm with you. Although, here today is about 84 with a cold front coming through sometime tomorrow, to bring our high to 48. Gotta love that.
Most of the malls here are already decorated for Christmas. When we were at lunch yesterday they already had Christmas music playing. GEEZ!
This time change depresses me.

Plus when I had all my pet snakes and lizards i had to buy heat lamps and pads and stuff. big mess.

So yes. WINTER SUCKS!

What? I would never address Mr Johns problems here. Thats why i started the other thread!

You brought up another thing that pisses me off.

Christmas.

Not the actual holiday, but they were selling Christmas shit before Halloween. WTF? Cant the Devil get his before Jesus?

Seriously, they are going to start selling Christmas shit in July here soon.

It rarely gets cold here, at least not for an Ohio boy, although my African wife will say differently

The dark coming early is what gets to me. Leave when its dark, get home when its dark. No wonder man invented Beer!

Yep! Some places have what they think are funny sales, that say something like, 'Christmas in July Specials' (right after July 4th) ... Before long this will probably become a norm. I think it takes away from the actual season when it should hit. I also say, Merry Christmas! We'll save that annual rant until closer time though.

Actaully, Winter is the time TOO own a Rover. They go through the snow, and the snow offers great protection against oil leaks on your driveway.

Yeah,

For those of you lucky enough to get snow!

It ends up around 33 deg, with rain. Gray skies, muddy everything.

I AM looking forward to going through the snow in my rover, i used to love getting people out of ditches with my Diso 2, but last season we only had 1 good snow storm, i was dissapointed
my neighbor was really pissed because he bought a new snow blower for like
2 grand, and only got to use it once LOL

We don't get 'real' snow down here in these parts, so we improvise with cat litter.
