This Lamborghini LM002 (1 of 230 made according to some sources) was killed because of it's owner's sins... and sins of his father.
Wouldn't the wide tires and the 12 or 24 spark plugs give a hint as to the rarity of the rig? Possibly the Lamborghini valve covers. Sounds like to Army needed another motorhead around. They could ahve blown up some other POS middle east rig. http://www.lamborghiniregistry.com/L...ayHussein.html

I's say more functional than beautiful... sure.
Hard to argue with it as it achieved its goals. 124 MPH on sand with 4 people and optional M60 mount. I'd drive one.... but then when you're in that plush Lambo leather.... you don't have to look at the body! hahha

Ewww. Glad they blew that crap sky high. Carb'd V12?? Manual Steering!!?? After owning my 109, I'll never have anything to do with another vehicle that has a carb and/or manual steering.
However, I agree. That POS definately would have been worth some big bucks. Mainly because of the original owner. I think it would be cool bragging rights to own the car of one of the biggest criminals of the world. |

I'm glad they blew it up. Prevents some moron from trying to sneak it home (don't ask me how they do it, soldiers, marines, and sailors find ways to get "trophies" home from Iraq) and ending up in jail.
A Marine that worked with me recently got busted for having a storage building stateside full of ak47s (one gold plated) and other assorted "trophies." |

Are you guys serious? That was an outstanding piece of 4x4 technology!! NOT beautiful by any means but realy, realy outstanding. NO land Rover travels at 140+mph in deep sand with a full load. Great rig I view this as a tragedy!!
Of course it's no Wolf defender either.![]()
