Healthy amphibians are nice to see, means your ground water has less atrazine than ours does Please be careful, the next thing you know you'll be swimming with STINGRAYS and that always ends up bad

My wife was bitten by a squirrel a couple of times. Of course we had raised him from a baby, so we were pretty sure he didn't have anything. He liked me, but would jump on her and try to bite her hand.

yeah, i've been bit by many baby animals. when i know their past i'm not too worried. but a wild full grown injured squirrel gave me enough of a chance to have it tested.

Good to hear that you're good to go. I double checked with my father, and the stats still haven't changed; Grey squirrels are the #1 carrier of rabies in NA, but not the number one transmitter. Probably because they're less likely to bite. Happy to hear it's all good though.

If you ever need snakes while home in Florida, my uncle has a small hobby farm in YeeHaw Junction, right in the middle of the state. He's got copperheads, cottonouths, pygmy rattlers, and some sort of big rattler all there. I've lost count of how many snakes I've shot in the hog and goat pens. But at least three or four were rattlers. As a zo-o' major, you're always welcome to collect what you need.

No problem dude. Just wear high gaiters or boots. He's got a creek running through the middle of the property.

yep i gotta get some new snake boots/gaiters for this summer. last time i went shopping for them, i couldn't get the boots in my size .

went out yesterday and caught more salamanders/lizards/frogs and a few scorpions. I kept the 2 scorpions i caught and they are now in my dorm. I knew scorpions glow in the dark with a blacklight, so i bought a blacklight and this was the results. fucking cool stuff.

Ok, what's this one?
Never mind. Found it's a long-nosed leopard lizard.
