Weekends football? - Land Rovers Only

How are you all feeling about this weekends match ups? When the Pat's-Chargers opened at 15 i was taking the chargers all the way. Now its slipped to 13.5 and it makes me feel like they are trying to sucker people into betting on the Pats so i am staying with the chargers.

In the NFC its a touch more complicated. I am really rooting for the packers to win it all this year so its hard to be detached when looking at the big 7 points the Pack is favored by. I still want to bet on the packers but the giants have a legit shot at winning, much less covering. But I don't know if Eli has another good game in him. They are in green bay which this time of year is not dissimilar to Dante's frozen 9th circle of hell except it has screaming brandy fortified cheese heads screaming for carnage. NYC isn't exactly balmy this time of year but no one wants to play at Lambeau in January. I have to go with the packers on this one too. They showed last week they can come back from being down, its at their house and they have last of the gunslingers leading them on a farewell charge.

What do the rest of you think?

I am pulling for the Chargers this weekend. I am so over the Pats and would love to see them dethroned. I am rooting for the Packers, I don't really think Eli will have much game playing at Lambeau field - the cheeseheads are going to be ten times louder than normal.

I'd like to see the Patriots win it all, then we can finally put the '72 Dolphins to rest!!

Favre lives to play in a final Superbowl as he bounces the younger Manning out of Lambeau.
The Pat's defense smothers SD and Brady engineers another 4th quarter drive to steal the victory.

So i am 50-50 for the weekend, both good games. I am sad Farve doesn't get one last shot at the title but the gaints kicker gave them every chance in the world.

i wanted the packers to win so bad. w/e, if the giants can pull off a victory in the superbowl so be it. as long as the NFC can beat the patriots i'm happy

Break out the whine to go with your cheese. Pats are going to do it again. Really sorry that Favre didn't make it to the big show. I hope he comes back next year. It would have meant more for Brady to knock off Brett than Eli. Eli is going to be an easy victory.

the giants will be lucky to score 14 points....as much as I hate to say it, the NFC is doomed at this point. the Packers were the only chance the NFC had to putting on a good show with the Pats.
