Default Well, gas is dropping in price.. but I bought.

A new commuter vehicle. (Well not new, but new to me)

A 99' VW Passat GLS Turbo. Hey, it gets 32 MPG! Well.. not after my GIAC chip gets installed this weekend

I'll save miles on the Disco until the snow flies. This Passat is a front driver, the first front driver I have owned since 1990... Maybe I can pawn it off on my wife and rip around in the Audi instead, nothing beats drifting with Quattro.

Front Drive = BORING!!!

Default Go with APR...much better chip

I have their gear on my Audi TT...ran thier chip for 75000 with not one issue....the old turbo when it came off looked brand new....it was replaced with a bigger one...part of APR's stage 3 kit...

Marcus,

I am very familiar with Audi tuning and very involved in our local Audi Club. (1000 Members). I assume you have to 225 TT or the 180? If it was the 180, I assume you replaced the K03 with a K04?

We have done a LOT of FATS logging with all the tuner chips available for Audi/VW, most specifically for the 1.8T and 2.7T powerplants. The GIAC chip seemed to yield better results as well as REVO over the APR. But, met the guys when they cam into town and I have to say, they know their sh1t! (APR guys that is).

Ryan
