What I've been up to lately - Land Rovers Only

Hey everyone, I figured I'd share with the LRO community what I have been up to lately since it is pretty fun. The only downside is that I have been away from my rovers for over a month now(not to mention home, family, friends, land....) I'm in the USCG on a medium endurance cutter and we have been down off Cuba finding illegal immigrants in rafts and stuff. Here's an excerpt from military.com about what kinds of stuff is happening.

BTW, the little dog was a dachshund. And by marking the vessle as a hazard to navigation, they mean we shot 400 rounds from an M2 Browning .50cal into it until it exploded... It was a long night of no sleep and lots of work trying to get everyone aboard. The news never reports anything like this, even though it is happening in our back yard.

I have some cool pics of us shooting the boat. For some reason I can't get them to post though. I was actually sleeping when it happened and I woke up to the sound of machine guns going off then I heard a huge explosion. Apparently the diesel tank went up.

I got it to work. Here are a couple pics of the boat being shot up. It was late at night and so they aren't the greatest, but then again the guy taking them was in a little boat riding the waves. Had I known at the time what was going on I would've taken some as well.
