The Arkansas Crawlers started this project and it snowballed into something great when corporate sponsorship stepped in. JK with Hemi, Dynatracs, Atlas, Nav system, leather, you gotta see it. Been to the SEMA show in Vegas already. Showing in Arkansas currently. Proceeds go to the Wounded Warrior Project. Go to www.warriorjeep.org to read about it and make a donation to register to win. Our military heroes need our help. Thanks, Tim

This is, perhaps, one of the most meaningful and significant movements in support of injured servicemen. The photo ops and "see ya later, boy" attitudes shown to returning vets 35 years ago was the biggest insult ever shown a soldier. My son, who is stationed on Kodiak Island AK, is involved with the 4x4 club there ( many of the members are active duty) who hosted many vets over many weekends this past summer. They fly them in, take them fishing, camping and offroading, and are grateful and humbled by the experience. Give an injured vet something special, and he will give you something special in return.

Goofing off in the great white north.

Last August my 4x4 club took 4 groups of wounded warriors out to a secluded spot on the far side of the island for a day of Salmon fishing. We had around 8 guys per group and no less than 16 trucks showed up each time. We wheeled a pretty rough trail that is notorious for damaging trucks, it was more of an ATV trail. I had guys fighting to ride in my Disco. The guy I ended up taking with me was a Marine about my age who was hit with an IED and had his foot all torn up. He could walk, but he needed massive reconstructive surgery to get that way. They have been coming out here for the last few years to do a week of fishing Kodiak style, last year was the first time we had taken them out, hopefully not the last. I can't wait to do the trail in my 109 next summer.
