hi having never owned a 4x4, but driven a few. i'm thinking of buying a defender as a weekend toy. i found a nice looking truck on keith gott's site (the huge big v8 one), went for a test ride this week, but having doubts about buying something so big.... how hard it will be trying to re sell it. Does anyone have any suggestions? i'd like to get into green laning etc. but don't want to spend drastic cash getting it to be able to get me out of the sh*t if if happens. help plz. neil

Defender's are actually quite small, compared to other 4x4's. So this confuses me. Where is your location? Because in the US, Defenders have more demand than supply, and resale is the least of the problems.
