Arrow Boy, did that guardian angel get a workout this week.

Gave my Guardian Angel a workout

Hello again from Adam in NYC

Well, I have been busy in the Rover and outside of it. Two recent events come to pass.

I was driving down one of the local highways here in the Bronx last week. It passed by a baseball field. I was traveling at highway speed when a softball was approaching at high speed for my windshield. I had just enough time to close my eyes and had an extremely loud BOOM that resonanted throughout my Land Rover. Unfortunately my girlfriend was in the copilot seat and gave the loudest scream I had heard inside a vehicle.

Okay, the windshield held. I had a huge spiderweb centered on my inspection sticker on the left side. No shattered glass. I was sitting going at highway speed but was running out of it. I asked if Anna was fine, she said Yes weakly and out came the twenty questions, what was that, etc. I carefuly pulled off the highway and rolled to a stop.

Ten fingers ten toes, no other damage to the Rover and we are all fine. We were headed to a fine Chinese/Spanish/Hawaiian restaurant and I was not going to search for some poor kid who had hit the ball and probably had soiled his pants. I got to the restaurant and let my girelfriend out. She saw a shoe store and did what all ladies do, shop.

Got on my phone, called my claim in, and within 15 minutes had an address and an appointment with the glass place next day. Went to dinner and enjoyed the rest of the evening.

Guys, the most important thing in your life is your health. Dont assume your good health will stay. It can change suddenly and quickly. I was diagnosed with congestive heart failure some two years back. This past Thursday night, I had one of those agruments you wish you did not have, with my girlfriend, about farts in the breeze no less. Well, I never got chestpains from an oral agrument, and for my effort, got two episodes of chestpain the second turning into a weighty pressure enveloping my heart.

Ended up calling an ambulance taken to a hospital and to make a long story short, I have some further complications now. Enough that I have to repeat tomorrow Monday the stress test with the radioactive isotope and stick me back into that damned donut machine.

Boy, did that guardian angel get a workout this week.

Take care of the heart. Listen to a great cardiologist closely! If you don't have one find one.

Sorry to hear of your trouble!

X2, take care of yourself and no more arguing about farts in the breeze. (LOL)

I can't imagine how one can even argue such a topic. What is that all about Adam?
