Default Brake Lines

I have decided to replace all my brake lines.
I think I want to get the extended lines for sure. Never know when I'm gonna put on a lift kit or get suspension modifications.

I would love to hear from you about who you bought your's from and so on.

I got my extended and braided stainless brake lines from Rovertym, $88 for a full set.....hard to beat. I really like the EE ones, the braids are a bit tigher....looks a bit higher quality, but they dont sell them for DII's :P

Who makes the longest ones available - good quality of course?

Rovertym can make them any length you wish.

What's the typical lenght for, say, a 2-3" lift?

For DII's you dont need to get new brake lines for a 3" with normal (non-long travel) shocks. I believe it goes the same for DI's and 2" lifts.....havnt seen any info on brake lines for 3" lifted DI's but I suppose you would need them......on the other hand that isnt the first thing you will need when it comes to 3" on a DI....probably start with driveshafts to replace rotoflex/s.

Oh, I know. I'm just wondering at what point do the brake lines become a limitation? That's why I was asking about the lenght of the extended brake lines.

I never measured mine but when i was replacing the stock lines in the front i did compare the two side by side and the stainless braided line looked to be at least 3" or more longer than the stock line.
