Hi, I have a Range Rover TD6 Vogue (2002). I stopped the other day to let my wife out and noticed smoke coming from the front of the engine bay and a smell of electric wire burning it looks like the problem was with the wiring loom that goes down the side of the radiator on the o/s. Anyway RAC pick up and back to the dealers and we wait to hear there verdict. I’m interested to hear from anyone who has had a similar problem.
Looking forward to hearing from you. Murdock. Since writing this the garage has got back to me and cannot find anything wrong with it. |

My friend had the same problem. We found a wiring harnes under the coolant fill had given up the ghost.. Alantic British has the harness it is $100 in total w/ shipping and all... We got lucky and found a rolled rover that had that piece.. Hopefully this helps.
