Confession of a automotive technician - Land Rovers Only

So I went to the hospital today for a breathing test. I have seasonal Asthma and the GP requested I take one since its been a while. Well I take time off go and get the test done. Takes about an hour and a half. I learned alot and the respiratory technician was wonderful. Great bedside manner. Explained every test and what I needed to do.

But in the back of my mind I kept thinking. Geez woman, just get on with the test, No need to explain anything to me. Just run the test like you were scanning for codes or doing leakdown test. I got a warrantee, Its called insurance. Just fix it and dont bother with an explanation.

then I realized I am not a car. and I was the patient.

You health is more important than a car though- but I find myself thinking the same way sometimes.

You guys have "job rate" not "hourly rate" on your mind! Glad you are OK though.
