Default departing with my classic

ok so i have an old range rover classic that i planned on keeping all my life and now it is begining to cost too much..i have put around $3500 into it and have done alot of work to get the look i want...if i end up selling it i want to get a discovery series II and i wanted some advice from my fellow land roverans...my truck is prob worth around $2500 with the current problems but im trying to sell it for alot bc it has a badass look and there might be a chance that someone will buy it, i already have a couple people looking at it willing to pay $5000 and use it as a project car. i find it very difficult to sell my rover bc i am very attached to it and i have done all the work myself. i am a college student so 10 mpg and a truck that isnt the most reliable isnt the best scenario but sometimes i think its totally worth it..so please help me out guys and let me kno what you think

Just keep it! It sounds like your transfer case is the only major problem and you've already worked around that till you can fix it.

But if you need the money, $5k seems like a good deal. I think it would be hard to get 6.

Keep it, and buy a used motorcycle for a grand, or less. You'll only regret selling it after it's gone.
