Ok, thanks. I just did a flush.
I tell ya it was tuff to get the original Dex-Cool by Havoline.I went to the GM dealer and they sold me a generic brand (Turbo Power Coolant by Recochem) I went to every parts store in town and finally ended up at the Chevrolet dealer, they said the Havoline Product can not be sold over the counter any more cause there is no bittering agent. They said only a shop can buy it, so I called my mechanic and his shop just happen to have 4 gallons sitting around. What a Pain. ![]()

All you needed to do was go to Atuo Zone or any other auto parts store, they all carry Dexcool made by many different suppliers, they are all the same, O.A.T.
Water wetter or Purple Ice both mix well with any coolant. Mike |

Thanks, Mike. I am a bit Anal and your are right that there are plenty of O.A.T coolants on the market that are compatible with Dex-Cool but none are Dex-Cool they say similar and compliant but none say Dex-Cool.
I am sure it is just lawyer stuff that makes up the labeling. Some times it is Tuff being myself!! ![]()
