Spoke to soon. Looks like I need a new distributer. Have been quoted £400!!! CXan any one help me out with a 2nd hand one. It's a 3.5 V8 on a 1985 range rover. Help!! Perhaps it was not such abargain after all.

Well:
Try to locate a second hand one.Even with a damaged distibutor, you're still with a struck deal with that rover.I wish I can help you out, as I have a second hand parts supplier here in Florida, but don't know if they might be able to ship to UK.Anyways call them and find out.Their website is www.roversland.com I have posted it a couple times...  I wish they could give me a discount or so for bringing more LR owners to their business.Will think about it too.  Carlos |

found one
Thanks for that site. Managed to find one tonight. In the back of LRO magazine. Some one breaking a 1986 model. £25 including postage. Bargain. The V8 plan is back on schedule.  |
