Default DIY 3-Link Front Suspension

I have been looking @ these and want to get that awesome flex. I dont want to buy the expensive SG kit because I have access to a full machine shop and metal. Has anybody done this themselves?

Are there any blueprints/designs out there?

Go to the Land Rover section of Pirate4x4.com, and run a search. All the info you'll ever need.

X2. don't just limit yourself to the land rover section though. every section has ideas to work off. you'll just have to adjust the measurements for how long your links will be and the rover frame/axle, but you'll find more than enough info on pirate.

I dont think I need a 3 link, are there any tricks to get more flex with the radius arms? I have 9.5inch OME shocks. What else can I do?

RTE radius arms with heim joints or johnny joints. 12" shocks. Spring retainers.

Yea Ive been thinking of doing some of my own Radius Arms with Johnny Joints, Im in a welding elective in school so I can get that made, so the front Radius Arms will get 12" of flex if everything is done properly?

Also could you use the Johnny Joints that they sell on their website like this

Do you attach the radius arms through the middle of the Johnny Joint and then bolt the Joint onto the frame ect.
