Anyone tried ane Engine Pre lube on their vehicles. Seems worth a shot. The price isn't too bad either, especiall compared to AMSOIL.
Here's the link to the one I'm thinking about. http://motorprelube.com/default.html

Interesting idea, but i would beware of any one that charges a hundred eighty bucks for something that operates from a PO Box and doesn't know how to use spell check.

I don't know.. but the truck would have to sit for a long time before the oil dries out in the places they say it does.... yes it is not getting new, fresh oil at start up, but there would be residue oil in the bearings (the viscosity of the oil would allow it to stay in the thousand of an inch space that the bearings create...) adding something like lucas oil stabilizer, just adds to that ability of the oil to stay there.....

Well this one is $400 and supposedly does the same thing and has a cool buzzer and is shiney. In my search I found someone that said they used one for 9 years before it failed, not bad for $180.Another question. We don't have anywhere that shows the oil press. only temp. How would you know if you lost oil Pressure? I take it the temp guage doesn't double as a pressure guage. ![]() At $400 I might take my chances and plan on rebuild in 200k miles.

I don't know if you can do it on yours (probably not) but i plumbed an oil pressure guage from the oil pump. Of course, I don't have an oil cooler either.

I know, lawn mower engines aren't automobile engines. But they both need lubricant and the mower engine I took apart back in High School was still pretty damn slippery in areas that add claims "dry out". If you've ever had your valve covers off you'll see oil everywhere. Snake oil if you ask me. Save your money and buy soemthing fun.
