Default Flushing My Power Steering Tommorow

Tomorrow I'm going to be flushing my power steering fluid.
It's slightly below the min line, I'm also getting some squeaks when turning the wheel.
Truck has 63K on it and probably still has original fluid in it.

I'm going to get
2 Qts of Valvoline Synthetic Power Steering Fluid
and
1 Bottle of Lucas Power Steering Additive (Only going to use 1/2 of it)

I think I got the process down correct

Step 1 (Remove as much fluid as you can from resovoir with turkey baster)

Step 2 (Jack Front of Car Up, Then without turning engine on turn wheel lock to lock, remove the rest of the fluid from reservoir, REPEAT till no more fluid comes into the reservoir)

Step 3 (Fill reservoir half way with new fluid)

Step 4 (Start car, turn wheel lock to lock, while fluid gets lower, keep filling reservoir with more fluid)

Step 5 (Once system stops taking more fluid fill to the max line)

DONE!

Any tips, tricks, or recommendations?

Thanks

you not gonna get it all out that way . If you have a indepedent shop in the area Ask them if they Do BG service and inquire about a BG Power steering flush .

all your gonna do is mix dirty fluid with clean fluid

Welcome to BG Products, Inc. check out that link and see what they are all about and you can even find a shop in you area that does these types of serivce and BG guarrentes that if they product mess up you vehical its on them

I went ahead and did it the easy way.
I would rather have a little dirty fluid then no fluid.

I empty out the psf from the resoivior.
Then filled it with a little additive and new psf.

I know I mixed new with dirty.
But at least it's about 50% clean instead of 100% Dirty.

Next month I'm going to do the same thing.
Eventually most of the dirty fluid will be gone.

I was to scared to do the full flush (didn't want the pump to get air or no fluid).

Power Steering fluid usually can last to about 100K.
So I'm actually going a little beyond.

I did notice the psf filter was kind of dirty.

Anyone know how to replace that?

Thanks
