Default Funny Stuff...

I was driving home just now, on the way back from the UPS Store, and apparently this couple in a RRS were arguing about what the Pipe going up the side of my car was. While driving, the guy honks, rolls his window down while I do the same, and his wife asks "what that" (pointing at it)...and I say "A snorkel"...the guy's like.."YOU SEE...I TOLD YOU!"...His wife, now in awe, asks "so you can go snorkeling in your car???"...and I say..."Pretty Much"...Lady couldnt believe it. So then I say..."they have one for yours too you know"...the guy nearly had a heart attack. "REALLY!?!" he says. In the meantime, we're SOMEHOW not hitting pedestrians as they Jaywalk/run across this busy street.
Finally, we pulled over and the guy told me that he'd like to see what his truck can do. We exchanged emails, told him about the site, and invited him to the April 1s outting and told him that we have other Range Rovers and an LR3 that can handle everything so he should be just fine. We got in our trucks and we got on our way.....

When I get home, I'm 3 steps from my door when I hear an LR honk. I look back and its a friend from highschool I havent seen since, with a 2001 DII he JUST picked up!!! So that was another hour.

Talk about a Land Rover filled day.

That is so fun.
His wife will hate you for introducing him to tha wonderful world of offroading/greenlaning/etc...
Unless she's cool like Mel or Chic or KJ or Sideview.
Then the guy is going to hate you for introducing his wife to the sorted lot of Land Rover Lizards out there.
Either way you've done your job as Land Rover Ambassador and you deserve a scooby snack.

Aww... thanks Okie!

JC - I agree, it's always neat to meet someone new that seems to have the itch and see what the Rover is all about.

That is awesome!

There is a guy that lives in my area that drives a dII just like mine(as far as color goes) and every time we pass he is always checking out all the gear and equipment on my car! I am just waiting for the day we are at the DQ at the same time
