Default Gas mileage comparison

Ok, between a Series I Disco and a RRC with comparable stats what do you folks average ? They both have the 3.9 V8, except earlier RRC's but trying to compare VS. Toyota Cruisers, thanks.

I get around 13 MPG on regular unleaded (thats US Gallon). That reflects mix of city and highway driving. Highway only I am seeing about 15. Also my vehicle is a 91 RRC 3.9 Liter with 189K miles.

Default 1998 4.6hse

I mix my fuel - meaning sometimes premium sometimes mid 91, andI now have 112,600 on the odom. I avg 13-14.5 city/hwy, and I get 16-17 highway.
I do use fuel additive every 1000 miles or so.

Neither Cruiser, Disco, or RR are decent on gas mileage. If fuel economy is part of the equation don't think of any of these.

Default out of this world!

74 SIII 88" 335500 Miles! 2.25 L motor (about) 200 miles per tank - 45 liters. There is very little diff between highway and town although 4X4 driving nearl halfs my range.

(I am not sure how to convert liters to US Gal.)

Just now I've got a 2.5 Petrol in my LR90 (1985) and it gives me about 12 to 13mpg on petrol and gas(lpg) (no difference).

So I can get exactly 115 miles per tank. Difficult when a regular route I take has a 120 mile gap between petrol stations (good job I have duel fuel)

TerryS, I think your calculator needs a new battery. How do you arrive at 37.85 litres in a US gallon, when the formula is:- 1 litre x 0.02642 = US gallons.

Disco,

I think you might want to check your formula. Terry's batteries look to be fine. *wink*
