Default GAYDON Land Rover show.(Billing show Question too)

Hi guy's I know this may not be something everyone on the forum can do as it is in England, however,I was wondering if some of the forums UK members will be attending it.Should be a great show. I will camping out with the 109 this year and hope to see you there!

P.S- What is the deal with the Billing show/Kelmarsh Hall show. Kelmarsh has been cancelled and Billing is on but Billing is beginning to get a bit too "Pikey".Seems to be the biggest show of the year though. Does anyone think it will realy change this year with Land Rover monthly running it compared to LRE who has done it for 16 years??

Won't be at Gaydon (will be trialling ).

But I'll be at Billing, have to wait and see what it's like, although I'm personally looking forward the Land Rover World show at Eastnor Castle the most.

WOW- I forgot about that show!! It is when I am holiday too. I will definately be there to drive the Land Rover test trails. I think I'll break in the P38 there!! I recon it will only do the stage 2 route as it has no mods at the momment. Stage 3 seems more to my liking but the quote" this route may have some damaging sections" and "P38" do not sit well for now. To be honest it seems like the type of show to replace Billing for me unless Billing can change for the better. Billing does have the BEST weather though...baring this past years freak wind storm.

I'm going to Gaydon (it's the only one of the shows I've been to on a regular basis). Hopefully this will be the first one I'll be bringing a Land Rover to- previously no-one else seemed to fancy the trek from Southampton to Gaydon in a Series III. Luckily the Ninety should be making the trip this year.

I've only been to one Billing (2005), and that was only for a day, so I never really got the feel for it under LRE, but I'm currently deciding between going to LRW at Eastnor or Billing again this year, as the LRO Show at Malvern (which I went to the past two years) is no more. Eastnor certainly looks good and should be a great site, if nothing else.

Hi Jozg- We should meet up at Gaydon. You camping out? My partner and I will probobly need others for the "Quiz and a Curry" part of the show as we are not that clever at most times and drink too much.Could use your brains to compensate for our damaged ones.

I was thinking that too. Like, why don't you rub it in our faces? Problem is, you can get there cheap enuf, but with the pound at over $2, who can afford the pints? Oh I miss the days I could go for 2 weeks, work three days(4 if I was feeling guilty) and write the whole thing off.
