Default hi I'm CrazyRover I'm new

Hi everyone just want to say hello to everyone on here. I'm a good friend of Disco12 (Jarell) He told me about the site and his Discovery and his mother's is just awesome. I don't have a Discovery yet but I really want one.

When I do get one I will be doing off roading as I have a 93 honda accord. Jarell was telling me about the Center Diff Lock in the early discovery. I have some questions
1. what's the best years of the discovery I'm on a budget.
2. what's the best colors out there I like the Dark Green but I saw a Discovery in a light gold color.
3. Any good places to buy Rovers in the Bay Area. I live in Castro Valley.
Thanks.
I saw some pictures on this site You guys Rock

Hey what's up Crazyrover!

Try looking at the early(for the U.S.) Range Rover Classics, like 87 or 88. They had the manually locking center diff, 3.5 liter V8, etc., etc. They look awesome and can get one at a great price. Very comfortable ride and just as good offroad or maybe a little better in some areas as a Disco. Living in Cali you might not have as bad of a rust problem as some other areas of the country. Check out some of the threads in thr Range Rover Classic section and check out some pics, I think you will like.

welcome!! i lov my RRC!! i have seen some early yr RRC on ebay on the west coast. i saw a diesel RRC in canada on ebay. they wanted $12,000 w/ 164,000 which is high!!! selling point is the diesel engine. also on LRR there is a nice RRC w/ a rebuilt engine with only 10,000 on it. ask rover x about it. i think it is in northern calf? i think it was 2,900 for it!!!

First welcome...
Second I would not offroad in a 93 Honda Accord.
Unless you have modified it HEAVILY I think you will find the ground clearance inadequate.
