Thumbs up Highlight of the Day!!! (Met an LRCLV Member)

So im workin at my desk, doing the normal putting people on hold, avoiding meetings with CEOs and doing some paperwork for export orders, when this British Fellow comes in and asks...who's Land Rover is that outside? I spring up and say Mine! The guy's face lights up (so does mine) and we just start ramblin about rovers! He tells me he's here from Las Vegas and that hes a Member of LRCLV. He's got a 98 Disco with a bunch of RTE goodies.

It started when he was driving on the FREEWAY!! infront of our business, when he saw my truck outside! He got OFF! the freeway, and somehow found his way here to the shop (its a little difficult to find the place). You KNOW hes a Rover enthusiast!!! We exhancged numbers and websites...of course I gave him a post-it with links to LRO and MR. and my screen name. THe guy's name is Pete. He mentioned he was good friends with Andy from LRCLV. So Andy if you're on here, you've got a good pal there.

Its amazing how our community is so friendly and open to meeting fellow enthusiasts. The guys here at the shop thought it was a little weird and one of them thought it was even a little queery. I say screw them!

Highlight of the day indeed!

It's an illness. I do it all the time. My wife usually reminds me that "we don't have time for that." Or she sees that look in my eye and says, "don't do it".

So share his website with us you dope!!!
That's like saying, "my sister is so hot". And then not sharing the photos.

Hey thats awesome! Similar to what happened to me last week with the D90 owner.

I found on this site a guy with this rack.....it looks like an SD/NWP but its flat, not contoured......anyone know which rack it is?
