Default I did it!!

It is official. I took hold of the keys to my new LR2 on the 16 th. So far I like it. The design and everything is growing on me. I just have to get use to looking over a small bonnet. And I have been putting the truck through its paces for hauling boxes. So far it seams to be doing good on gas. The computer says I am getting 12 MPG in the city. I get 21 MPG on the highway, but that is what the computer said.

It was a close call on the LR2 and a BMW X3. I like the BMW because it drove and handled better, but the wife saved the day and said that everyone here has a BMW X3 but nobody has an LR2. So far only 3 LR2's have been sold here so far that I know of.

As for my 04 Disco. It was sold 23 hours after trade in. The funny part is when I went to the stealer ship to get my floor mats. He asked if he could have the floor mats that I took out of the Disco. (I took the floor mats for my friends car) I told him they where from Sears and the new owner can get them there. That had to take some coconuts after what he put me through!!

Congrats again, we picked up our LR2 a few weeks ago. The computer is telling us as far as gas mileage we are getting 17 mpg, my wife has mainly been driving around town. What coler did you get? We also looked at the BMW along with Mercedes 230. My wife made the right choice!

congrats bird.

as an lr tech I would like all new LR2 owners to tell me there experiences driving and the like and any problems or issues.

these are completely new vehicles and any issues or other problems I would like to know of.

and if you guys need any help with your buttons and the like I do have access to manuals so I would be delighted in helping you.

I wont lie we are pinning our hopes on the little truck. if she works out the crimes of the past freelander might actually get washed away and forgotten about.

I got the silver, but when I first ordered my LR2 I wanted a gray one with the lighting package. However I was in a hurry and went for the stock LR2. It has all the bells and whistles I wanted and saved me a grand. As for gas millage I am up to about 18 mpg

Hey Roven I have a question! I am I suppose to feel a slight vibration in the brake pedal like the ABS doing it'd thing? So far I feel a very slight vibration in the brake pedal, but only some of the time. I could not see any thing in the book. I will keep a closer eye on it. And I know that each new truck will have it's quirk's
