Talking I Got Complimented!

I gotta kick out of this today. Me and my friend were just cruisin' around town, and we stopped at a light on our way to browse the local Meijer's and my friend notices that a guy in a Jeep Liberty is checkin' out my truck.

Then guy in the Liberty is a young dude with the desire to go wheelin' (but not really in his Heep ). He eases forward and asks us, "Hey does that thing crawl over anything?" And we reply at the same time, "Hell yes!!"

He then says, "It's a hell of a truck, being a Range Rover and all." We laughed and he says, "Nice truck man!" Light turns green and he changes lanes just to get a better view of the truck, then passes us giving us a thumbs up.

I though that was cool, getting a compliment from someone you don't even know.

Yes that is very cool. It happened to me a week ago. Dude in a mazda was looking at my Disco and said " hey that's dangerous looking rover" I was like "thanks" he continued " nice lift what company is that by" I repiled "OME" he said " I have a 98 Discovery You are my inspriation we never see rovers that looks like yours out here often" he gave me thumbs up. Yeah I agree...we don't see too many Rovers like ours driving around.

But yes, very cool to get complimented....especially from a guy in a Jeep!

Hearing Phil Bashall pronounce the Limo "a nice one" was pretty cool. He is also the person who test drove Wilks in the UK and handled the arrangements on that side of the pond.
