... but I should be getting a defender 90 (well atleast checking it out) on sunday (knock on wood)! I have a buddy who's in the used car business and he got a tip on one for a ridiculously low price. It has 66k miles on it and is a black '97 ST. I have yet to see what kind of condition it's in, but with the mileage it can't be all bad. Especially with the price!

Good luck! You can't tease us like that and not post the price.
Things to watch for- title search it! Even if it's cheap, title search it! If the frame is rusty- don't condemn it too quickly. I have a good spare frame I'd sell cheap (needs a new rear crossmember, but I have that too). If you aren't too far from Springfield, DAP will pre-sale inspect the Defender FREE of charge and give you a comprehensive report. No strings, no charge. We do that so we remain impartial, but keep people from making mistakes OR helping them score a sweet deal.

Before I post the price I want to find out if it's actually legitimate. haha. The price will absolutely blow you away... It's under 10k. I'm just afraid that there's something wrong with it that I don't know yet. It has been taken in on a trade and everything is legitimate.
Sunday all the questions should be answered! |

Yes sir...lookin at three specimen...one of which is a dealer vehicle and at $34k with 78k miles on the clock in PRESTINE condition (hardtop) and a winch, its not a bad deal, i think. The other two are a yellow Soft Top, and a 94 Soft Top
