Default Importing Range Rover

I was hoping someone might be able to offer some advice/guidance on importing a 2000 Range Rover back to the US. I am currently living in Switzerland for work, and will move home later this year. I would like to bring my Range Rover back with me, but now sure how hard/easy this is, if it's even possible or how much it might cost, and if it would be worth it.

I've just started researching this, and have found a lot of information, that really just confused me.

If anyone has experience with this, or can offer any advice it would be greatly appreciated. Please post or email me directly at mwatermasysk@yahoo.com

Thanks!
Mark

You said "bring it back", so you purchased the vehicle here in the US? If so than you should have no problem bringing it back. If it were a non-US spec vehicle than I think you woul dhave to spend some money and get it US spec'd. I believe there is a sticker on the side of the door that will tell you if it meets US requirements.

Just my opinion.

Sorry for not clarifying, I actually bought it here in Europe...I meant bring it back with me, not where I originally purchased since that was here.

is it diesel or gas.

gas will be alot easier.

If it is diesel sell it.

Its too expensive to fix here in the states and getting parts will take alot and cost more.

If it wasn't built as a U.S. version, it'll cost you SO much to get it through the importation process that you could probably have sold it and bought a brand new one here in the US.
