Keyfob battery? - Land Rovers Only

Does anyones Keyless entry only work from about 10' away from their disco? Mine only works at close range of 10' or less. Battery??

Wanna get it to work better..................Put the remote under your chin, touching your chin, then press it - - - -

Sounds weird but I get more than 20ft outta it using it this way.....

Dunno what it does to the grey matter!
